JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title Business Development Executive
Line Manager Raj Pradeep
Location ExamPoint, Colombo 4
Working Hours Monday – Friday (0900 – 1700)
Overall Purpose To assist the Operations Director in planning, organising, coordinating of the day-to-day functions concerning the overall business delivery of the ExamPoint Colombo office.

To work independently with external stakeholders to negotiate and establish new revenue streams for ExamPoint Colombo office.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Bring in new revenue streams
  • Develop new products/packages and increase revenue
  • Liaising and coordinating with external organisations
  • Working with internal and external databases
  • Scheduling exam appointments with clients
  • Providing information to clients and answer client queries (telephone / email)
  • Managing inventory
  • General filing and working with invoices and receipts
  • Getting maintenance done on office equipment and machinery
  • Negotiating with suppliers and service providers
  • Maintaining books and records

 

 KEY SKILLS and COMPETENCIES

  • Customer service experience
  • Fluency in English language (writing / speaking)
  • Fluency in Sinhala language (writing / speaking)
  • Confident and articulate phone manner
  • Use of PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Use of internet and general IT
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Experience of CRM systems (desirable)
  • Self-starter with full of enthusiasm
  • Able to work without supervision
  • Client facing skills
